Counselling Philosophy

Every one of our students is important to us, no matter what their background or achievements are. Each one of our students’ success is our success. We strongly believe in working closely with, giving focused and deep personalized attention and highly individualized advice to all our students.  

We believe that, through effort, perseverance and a passion for learning, all our students can grow in intelligence, character and ability. 

  We know every one of our students is a unique individual. We celebrate their individuality and counsel them as distinct individuals, helping them discover their unique strengths, interests and goals. 

We believe in our students’ ability to achieve the improbable. However, we also believe in preparing them well with plans for all possible outcomes. 

 We believe that the college planning and application journey is a tremendous opportunity for us to support and guide the personal development of our students, for now and their future, as learners, future college students, professionals and leaders. 

 We believe in being honest and ethical in everything that we do, and counsel our students to be and do the same. We strongly believe any ethical misconduct (such as plaigarism or misstatement of facts) is a great disservice to our students’ actual growth and development as learners, future college students, professionals and eventually leaders. 

 We believe in the pursuit of excellence in counselling through continuous improvement and discovery of better and newer ways in what we do and how we do it. We believe in inspiring our students to similarly pursue excellence through continuous improvement in what they choose to do. 

 It is our commitment to all our students and their parents/families that anything they share with us is confidential and will remain so.
